![]() Just looking at the damage numbers, the vods, everything, you can clearly see that the seige cannons were just props 90% of the time. If they are made obsolete due to lag whether server end or whatever, then its impossible to defend. Id say only 1-2 of 8 shots from cannons actually landed on point if we were lucky. Id fire the cannon straight at point… nothing, no hit marker, no damage numbers, nothing. I even hopped on myself thinking that my team was making it up. Our cannon fire was disappearing before it got to the point. You all know how much cannons do and thats just T1 or T2, we were the first war i’ve been in since launch with T3. Three points, with 5+ t3 cannons full sending onto each point as they were on it, everyone should have had a LOT more damage received, and should have been pushed off point from explosions much more often even if they lived through the blast. Not so much immune but take a second to think. I saw that someone in the war posted their damage taken, and they were scoffing at the idea that they were immune. This lag wall made our focused cannon fire lag out and dissapear 90% of the time. Ironically, the only seige that was able to do anything here was the lvl 1 repeaters. Yes there were repeaters on the wall as well, but in places to help cut off rotations in case they didnt zerg(on defense you just have to prepare to the best of your ability for all scenarios). ![]() Every point had atleast 5+ cannons able to focus on it. Knowing this, as it was our home town, I focused advancing emplacements and cannons to max, so we had t3 cannons and every emplacement in the war defense. The way to counter that is with effective siege. For those un-aware, offense has a large advantage in that they have more bodies on the ground, and can zerg and hold a site easier than defense can. The largest issue here was the lag wall that got put up yes, but largely how it related to our siege equipment. I defended a much less upgraded keep(t1 cannons, t1 emplacements, etc) against a large majority of this enemy company/force just the day before and they never took a point off of me. I pride myself on my defense capabilities. I’ve led 10+ wars overall since beta, three since launch, and this is my first loss ever. I want to point out a couple things about why this is an issue that haven’t been brought up.įirst off, before you say I’m bitter about losing, I’m not, because I truly feel I wasn’t out shotcalled.
